Good evening Alla, Another way to handle it is to consider first the use cases that will meet the prioritization criteria Then, if we have additional resource capacity, we can focus on the use cases that were not meeting the prioritization criteria These leftovers will definitively require higher ONAP TSC’s attention who will help to draw the final conclusions. I look forward to getting additional inputs from the ONAP TSC regarding the prioritization criteria.

Regarding your proposed prioritization criteria – I personally agree with all of them, but I really wonder what would happen, for instance, if we have some requirement failing to meet criteria, but a company behind it willing to contribute resources? Or vice versa, a requirement meeting criteria, but specific projects not willing to develop the functionality? (we had the related discussions yesterday, during Usecase subcommittee meeting, no clear solution was identified…) Best regards, Alla Goldner Open Network Division Amdocs Technology [cid:[email protected]] From: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Catherine LEFEVRE Sent: Tuesday, November 06, 2018 12:10 PM To: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>; [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Cc: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Subject: Re: [onap-tsc] [Onap-usecasesub] Plan towards agreeing on Dublin scope Good evening Alla, I agree that we should discuss the prioritization criteria with the ONAP TSC. I also believe that we should also apply these prioritization criteria to any use case, functional requirements and non-functional requirements. It will also be important to understand which components are impacted by these requirements. I was also hoping that we can consider the following sub-theme for Dublin – “Security by Design” I do not think we will be able to discuss this item on Nov 8th since the TSC agenda is already full. Will Nov 15th not too late? Otherwise we can start to provide prioritization criteria by e-mail so we can wrap up on TSC Call? Please find some initial inputs regarding the prioritization - based on SP average priorities i.e. Req #1 set as P1 for 3 operators has a higher priority than Req #2 set as P1 for 1 operator, set P2 for 2 other operators - based on detailed requirements availability that will facilitate PTL’s understanding - based on phasing approach or not for large requirements - based on resource availability - based on 1 Top item requested by PTL i.e. Security leftovers, Development improvement, documentation enhancement Many thanks & regards Catherine From: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Alla Goldner Sent: Friday, October 26, 2018 5:27 PM To: Lefevre, Catherine <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>>; [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>; [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Cc: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Subject: Re: [onap-tsc] [Onap-usecasesub] Plan towards agreeing on Dublin scope Hi Catherine, I will arrange a consolidated list of the requirements with SP priorities even prior to that. However, a decision on how we treat priorities (e.g. what is threshold in terms of number of Service Providers requesting the functionality, etc.) will have to be defined by the TSC, I guess. Nov 1st – is the last day for Service Providers requirements for Dublin https://wiki.onap.org/display/DW/SP+priorities+for+Dublin<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__wiki.onap.org_display_DW_SP-2Bpriorities-2Bfor-2BDublin&d=DwMGaQ&c=LFYZ-o9_HUMeMTSQicvjIg&r=ZglJ8LOeAfevY7wWaSximhFMAzXaMdza5QYCg-DW6SU&m=rO-D7GBYf-gw6cR1XD26JXvq_Z4h8Z-TSp6sZcYE44Y&s=j4l88duzpI7ERG0jQDW4PJ6IDyoOaMFXZvvE9csVncI&e=> I will consolidate all information already provided by additional SP into this page (beginning of the next week) 2. Nov 15th – is the last day for providing use case/functional requirements as a candidates for Dublin 3. Nov 29th - is the last day for getting all of the requirements (architecture, security, projects, S3P etc.) and getting a single consolidated list so all of the projects have full picture of what is required from them. By this date, all use cases/functional requirements need to be discussed with a different projects, and demanded scope of development should be clear to the projects 4.
