For Policy there is no limitation on the number of control loops you can have. All the use cases in ONAP that have control loops should be able to work together in one Drools controller. But we recommend separate Drools controllers for each for simplicity.

Currently there is an historic limitation in CLAMP which means you can only have one blueprint per vnf in a service. Meaning if you have one service with 4 vnf, you can only associate one blueprint and therefore on CL for each vnf. We plan to remove that limitation in Dublin. Secondly for a given blueprint(for a vnf inside a service, see previous remark), you can only deploy it once in DCAE, meaning you cannot make several deployment of the same “blueprint_id”(identifier of the blueprint) in DCAE(which makes sense actually).
