Worth mentioning that we at Red Hat are working on running ONAP on a full
Red Hat stack (RHEL + Red Hat OpenStack + OpenShift Kubernetes). Actually
you can choose the community upstreams of each (CentOS + RDO + OKD). We're
making good progress and I expect to present it to the community soon.

Meanwhile, I want to emphasize that the host operating system is only one
piece of the puzzle. We face the problem that ONAP's container images are
based on a wide range of operating systems, making vendor support difficult
if not impossible. One of the goals of the ONAP CIA project is to allow us
to choose a single base operating system for all container images. For
those interested, please join the CIA project and help!
