Yang,
I'm not sure to get the need of version like 1.3.3 in any project. Because
either it's in an ONAP release (then it's tagged as ONAP release like 2.0.0,
1.1.0, 3.0.0, 3.0.1), either it's not really used no?

Regards,

    Sylvain,

Each project already has its own independent release versions, like 1.3.3
in testsuite repo
https://gerrit.onap.org/r/gitweb?p=testsuite.git;a=shortlog;h=refs%2Fheads%2Fcasablanca.
ONAP 3.0.1 tagging needs more info than just digits to separate it out from
individual project release version.

    Regards,
    -Yang

And if we can omit '-ONAP' part in the tag (so 3.0.1 as tag or better
v3.0.1 like Kubernetes) as it's a tautologie, it would be awesome!

For each release, all gerrit repos that participated in the release are
supposed to be tagged accordingly to mark exactly what was released.

For Casablanca, the tag was 3.0.0-ONAP.

For Casablanca MR, the tag should be 3.0.1-ONAP. It does not appear
that any repo has had this tag created yet.

        Thanks,
        Gary

        Hi Yang, Michal,

I am not sure what you mean by LF doing 3.0.1 Tagging.
3.0.1 is the release version that we agreed for the Casablanca
Maintenance Release

https://onap.readthedocs.io/en/latest/release/index.html#casablanca-maintenance-release-3-0-1

The Casablanca Maintenance Release has been signed - off on 1/31/2019
based on the set of containers that the Integration Team has validated.
I have sent an e-mail last week to perform a final review of the
Casablanca Maintenance release note including Release Manifest, Nexus Release
Artifacts and Docker Release based on the what has been validated since we have
discovered an issue with the release note.
        https://lists.onap.org/g/onap-release/message/1023

As discussed today during the PTLs call, although PTLs have submitted
their changes regarding their project specific release note, the changes are
not reflected correctly on each Project Specific Release Notes
https://docs.onap.org/en/casablanca/release/releaserepos.html#doc-releaserepos
- OOM being one of these projects ...

The Documentation team is actively working to fix any identified issue.
As soon as all the changes are correctly then I will send a
communication to all the ONAP distro list.

Any new commit in review which are promoting some images to newer
version inside Casablanca branch should be rejected by reviewer, committer or
PTL!

Hope it clarifies the current situation.

        Best regards
        Catherine

        Hi Jim,

        Is LF doing 3.0.1 tagging?

        Thanks,

signed-off ?

        Dear ONAP friends,

I am searching for information whether we already have official
Casablanca Maintenance Release ready for deployment, according to schedule it
was signed-off on 31th January

I also don't see any outstanding issues in report page maintained by
integration team
https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__wiki.onap.org_display_DW_Casablanca-2BMaintenance-2BRelease-2BIntegration-2BTesting-2BStatus&d=DwIGaQ&c=LFYZ-o9_HUMeMTSQicvjIg&r=ZglJ8LOeAfevY7wWaSximhFMAzXaMdza5QYCg-DW6SU&m=U2Cqqtov4GYQw6pJC_u_Q72jDYcKcnDrCsw3vjwDzYY&s=0rWoGZIIWctsZXa0BuDgOElnBnl3iT4CC2n7VO6D09g&e=

but OOM project still don't have this 3.0.1 tag and also I see few more
commits in review which are promoting some images to newer version inside
Casablanca branch

So the question is, whether official Casablanca Maintenance Release is
now available for installation ?

        Thank you,
        Michal
