Hi Marco, Thanks for pointing out that there are 2 vservers in named-query response. I had not noticed that. But I think that means, if I delete VFModule from VID, for which this heatbridge was done, the vserver info doesn’t get cleaned. Because I had deleted corresponding VFModule whose vserver data was still there.
1. We deleted unwanted /old vserver data from AAI and tried again. Named-query response is still not having extra parameters as needed by policy. 2. We also created service again, right from new VSP and instantiated VFModule. After heatbridge, if we do named-query, still don’t see extra parameters present in the response. That means scaleout by policy is going to fail. A question to policy team – Any reason for referring to extra parameters section ? As the required info ( model-ver.model-name and model-ver.model-version-id ) seems to be present in the named-query response in other part. Not sure what’s going on, but looking at your logs I see that in the failure case you have 2 vServers with the same name and different ID as part of the same JSON object, one of which has only info about cloud region and tenant. Can you start fresh, installing a new VNF? We are getting response for vserver’s named query in policy. It’s just that below mentioned extra-properties are not in it. We are using Casablanca release with OOM based installation. We are observing that the AAI data returned in response to named query for the vserver does not have the fields model-ver.model-name and model-ver.model-version-id in the extra-properties section for the service, vnf and vf module data. Hence policy is not able to send the same to SO and the scale-out fails at SO because of missing parameters. When we searched, came across closed Jira ticket https://jira.onap.org/browse/AAI-456<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__jira.onap.org_browse_AAI-2D456&d=DwMFAg&c=LFYZ-o9_HUMeMTSQicvjIg&r=KgFIQiUJzSC0gUhJaQxg8eC3w16GC3sKgWIcs4iIee0&m=h3gwHSSxMkUcHOp2sYpsJ03ursVsDjZbvI_uNSg3AtY&s=hYJAYqO2smvlMhO3TQRWNI6zGoen9HGokFR7pY9qyDc&e=> that was reported for Amsterdam which had similar issue. Attached log has the named query response for the error scenario. Btw, this scenario used to work for us before on the same AAI instance. Attached logs for this previous success scenario as well.
