Team,
Sorry for the late notice – I had something to attend to on my ‘day job’ and
lost track of time until 10 minutes into the meeting, then saw no one on when I
joined. I apologize for the delay.
Some status I wanted to share:
1. The Dublin M2 milestone vote was delayed by a week, because most teams
(including CCSDK) were missing 2 of the new criteria added for M2 this release:
* All repos need to have at least 55% code (line) coverage reported in
Sonar.
* All projects need to document a plan for running all their containers
as non-root users.
2. The following CCSDK repos are currently under the 55% code coverage
criteria:
* ccsdk/sli/adaptors : 53.4%
* ccsdk/sli/core : 54.3%
* ccsdk/sli/northbound : 50.2%
Any help in adding test cases to increase those percentages would be greatly
appreciated! We need to get to 55% by next week.
1. I updated all the Dockerfiles in ccsdk/distribution to create non-root
users and to run as non-root by default. My plan right now is to document in
our M2 checklist that our plan for verifying non-root users is that we’ve made
those changes for our primary containers (the ones in ccsdk/distribution) and
once we’ve verified that those changes are sufficient to run as non-root in the
OOM/Kubernetes environment, we’ll apply the same changes to our microservice
containers.
Sorry again for the late meeting cancellation.
