Hello, I ran into a “deep dive” of what’s installed with OOM Master (results here: https://wiki.onap.org/display/DW/Reduction+effort+between+Casablanca+and+Dublin). I’ve seen that 4 projects is using Elasticsearch and 3 are using a full ELK stack. Unfortunately, we’re using 4 different versions (3 in 6.x, 1 in 5.5) and all of them are not the newest in their x.y branch (see the JIRA I’ve created).
Using newer version is one of the best way to resolve known security issues and also helps onboarding to new “big” versions (ELK stack 7.X is in Beta as of today). So, trying a newer version (or at the very least using the most new version of the 4 projects, the one by Pomba – actually 6.3.2 instead of 6.3.1) would be a good way to mitigate the risk and also tend to an unique deployment of ElasticSearch, logstash and Kibana.
