Hi Bharath, VNFFG or NSM based SFC is what I call as dynamic SFC, where CNI and associated logic takes care of traffic steering across chain and even across multiple instances of a NF. That is some thing we need to explore. But, initially, the intention is to setup routes dynamically to steer traffic across chain functions. This has limitations in distributing the traffic across multiple instances of NFs.

Hence, you may not find any use cases. We intend to work on semi-dynamic SFC feature in R5 to stich VNFs and CNFs when K8S based Cloud regions are used to instantiate the network service. We need to pass both internal and community gates to put this in R5. We are hoping that we would cross them.
