Good day, Bharath. I'm in the process of finalizing a history update we made to have it run over Cassandra (finally finished the testing suite yesterday - one problem left). Unfortunately, I think we have missed the window for Dublin, but I'm hopeful that it will be ready for the next release. Once it's complete, I will coordinate with the OOM team to get our charts in.
Your description of it's behaviour is correct...while it does not provide the data in the form of an event log, it would be possible to retrieve the vf-modules the vnf used to be connected to, and all the details of those vf-modules from prior points in time.
