Yes, the current one we have was part of what we intended in Beijing but could not be taken further for reasons known. As is discussed earlier in the SO weekly, we have the E release target to clean up the backlogs and I have this topic as one amongst those. We would need to make it modular to ensure we can have enough plug and play feasibility. Let’s discuss more on this in the SO weekly, would like to hear more from you and others.

As part of this effort, I needed to rewrite the Cloudify manager client, which I'll be contributing. There is an existing cloudify-client module and root level directory that is obsolete for various reasons. I don't think having a 'cloudify-client' root level directory in the source tree is desirable, and it should be relocated as a subproject in a new adapters/cloudify-adapter folder, as I'll be writing an adapter that uses it.
