Hey Liu, The best way to start with APPC is to get in touch with Taka Cho (copied on this email). He is the PTL for APPC and can point you in the right direction. The next release (El Alto) is more of a maintenance release and will not include any scaling features. This will give you a chance to get some more experience working with APPC. The next Feature release is Frankfurt and will begin in September. By that time you should know enough to be able to commit to specific features that you would like to contribute.
I will be glad to work with you on what needs to be done to further the Scaling Use Case.
