Hi Thierry, KuD (which is Kubernetes installer, which we are using to bring up K8S based sites) is currently tested to bring up K8S cluster on VMs, but it should work on bare-metal too, but not yet tested and hence there could be a need for some changes. We (Intel/VMWare/Verizon/Aaarna) have proposed an Akraino BP (Multi-Server Integrated Cloud Native) where it would be tested with installing K8S cluster on bare-metal machines and deploying various workloads of different use cases using ONAP-light version.

Akraino MICN BP Is taking only small portion from the ONAP for Multi-Cluster deployment. Intention in the BP is to take just the Multi-Cloud K8S related services + CSM + MongoDB + etcd etc.. as this BP intention is to deploy workloads (VM and Containers) on K8S based sites only. That is why, we are calling it as ONAP-light. On your second question: Yes, ESR information needs to be filled as some part of MC broker requires the information to be there in A&AI to figure out the cloud technology. It is a workaround for now. Did you test with bare metal k8s cloud? The k8s cloud region is created in the AAI filling ESR part with VIM information. How is the ESR VIM information important within this context? Do you add it to satisfy SO openstack adapter checks that are done with usual openstack cloud?
