Hi, I have a PNF simulator. I am able to onboard the PNF on ONAP Casablanca release and create a service for the PNF.
Now I am trying to do some ConfigModify LCM operation on the PNF using CDT (Controller Design Tool). I saw a few examples in wiki where LCM operations (ConfigModify/ConfigScaleout/VM_stop etc) are done on VNF (vLB/vDNS and vFW). Has anyone successfully done a CDT based LCM operation (Configure/ConfigModify etc.) on a "PNF" or a "PNF simulator". If yes, can you please share your experience. I have a few questions. It would be really helpful if CDT/APPC dev/testing teams or others can provide some answers. 1. Does CDT support LCM on PNF in Casablanca release ? 2. In CDT GUI we identify a VNF by "VNF type" and store its info in APPC. What would be an equivalent for a "PNF" ? I could not locate "PNF type" on ONAP portal. 3. What all is expected from the PNF for supporting LCM operations ? We have done netconf-xml based configuration on PNF. Is that enough to support a basic ConfiModify operation. 4. Are there any documents on wiki or elsewhere that talk about CDT based LCM on PNF's.
