Hi Mir,
here is Marco. I’m working with Aniello.
Yes we excuteted the heatbridge command.
Here is the command we have sent.
./demo-k8s.sh onap heatbridge
RegionOne_ONAP-NF_20190821T135252709Z_vlb_Expansion_001 50276f1b-97ed-4
59d-a6b0-9c1c689be64d vLB 10.0.101.19
We will follow the Platania’s direction and we will check the settings in the
CDT regarding heathcheck.
Do you solved your problem about the PUT in the AAI that returns a response
which is not well understood ?

Hi Aniello, did you run the heatbridge? – that’s what puts the OAM IP for the
vlb in AAI. You can run it using robot or just manually try putting the OAM IP
in your AAI and see if that solves the issue.

Subject: [EXT][onap-discuss] R: VF Module Scale Out Use Case - questions about
closed-loop chain.
Hi all,
to unlock the “clamp lock”, you need to delete the entry into
infra_active_request table for the requestdb database.
Once deleted, it should continue to work.
In fact, now the SO starts the bpmn for the scaleout action, but I have still
some problems with the APPC.
In few works:
When the controlloop is activated, it sends a scaleout request to the SO which
starts the bpmn "WorkflowBB".
This workflow is composed by 5 or 6 Building Blocks (Healthcheck, Create
VFmodule, Assign, Activate, Healthcheck).
However, the first BB is an healthcheck operation, managed by the APPC
controller.
So the APPC makes some GET queries against the AAI to retrieve some
information, for example the oam vlb ip for the healthcheck.
For example (from appc karaf log):

As you can see, some information are missing from the AAI response (i.e.
oam-vlb ip is missed).
Once retrieve the oam vlb ip, the APPC tries to make an healthcheck operation
versus the vLB VM by making:
http://null:8183/restconf/operational/health-vnf-onap-plugin:health-vnf-onap-plugin-state/health-check
Of course, this this request fails because the ip is missing.
And so the APPC fails returning to the SO bpmn the following error message:
2019-09-03T13:37:54,471 | ERROR | appc-dispatcher-3 | RestServiceNode

Can anyone help me? Any workaround to solve this problem?

Oggetto: Re: VF Module Scale Out Use Case - questions about closed-loop chain.
Policy doesn’t execute closed loop for each received event. For a given event,
Policy runs one closed loop every X minutes, this is why the VNF is locked. At
the expiration of the timeout (lock), the closed loop is executed again. I
can’t remember where locks are kept, Jorge can help with that. Guard policies
are pushed by the user from CLAMP typically (unless you call Policy API
directly), so they do what the user tells them to do. Note however that for
scale out, Policy doesn’t call APPC, it calls SO (which later on calls APPC for
VNF health check and reconfiguration). I’m not sure whether your configuration
reflects this. You shouldn’t expect Policy to publish in APPC-LCM-READ.

Subject: VF Module Scale Out Use Case - questions about closed-loop chain.
Hi everybody,
We are testing the VF Module Scale Out use case.
Our vLB correctly sends data to the VES Collector and it correctly publishes
data on DMaaP topic unauthenticated.VES_MEASUREMENT_OUTPUT.
TCA correctly read data from this topic and, as the threshold is violated,
correctly publishes data on DMAAP topic unauthenticated.DCAE_CL_OUTPUT
Policy Drools read data from this topic and applies frequency guard but it does
not propagate the event even if it seems send evets to DMaap topic POLICY-CL-MGT
Who consumes messages from this topic (POLICY-CL-MGT) and who writes to topic
APPC-LCM-READ in order to propagate the commands to the APPC ?
Accessing to network.log file of policy drools we have found the following
messages :

It seems that we vserver entry in the AAI (vserver relative to the vLB) is
locked ?
Why it is locked ?
Who locks it ?
Where are kept the locks ?
I have also accessed the policy db
