Thank you for the verification. I would recommend to keep the packages on your storage for now. We haven’t been aware that there can be such a discrepancy between RHEL and CentOS Enterprise repo till now. Actually we recently decided to change the approach to the RPM during build process and infrastrcture setup: we decided to unify RPM repositories for RHEL 7.6 and CentOS 7.6 as the supported platforms and we’re working on 1) a way of using only CentOS RPMs on both platforms, 2) to have independed build an target platform (e.g. to be able to build package on CentOS and install it on RHEL and vice versa), 3) to use direct links to exact packages and 4) to put the step of creating repository to the installation process. I don’t think we are able to totally prevent this kind of problems in the future and the lists definitely needs some maintenance in time (we need to think about an automation), but I think we could catch it earlier in our lab if we’d used CentOS RPMs for both platforms as we plan to do in near future since we’re running the download job on RHEL currently. Maybe we should not refer to exact version of the package and let the yumdownloader to download the current version, but I’m affraid of issues during installation then, so I think the way of using the exact versions is better. The main concern is of this happening again in the future, and wondering is there any way to prevent this or update the list automatically? Should we look into have a folder of these rpms and pull them from our own location instead of relying on centOS repos?
