Hi,
I am trying the vFWCL usecase in Dublin. Following is the process that I
followed along with the issue that I am hitting,
1. SDC phase: Add the DCAE TCA blueprint to the service composition and pull
the onap.policies.monitoring.cdap.hi.lo. Followed by test, approve and
distribute.
2. CLAMP : Configured the event name, policy name and thresholds in the TCA.
Then in the Policy selected APPC as the actor and payload as {} ( an empty
payload failed to create the controlloop in drools). When I select VNF as the
target, the drop down gives VNF name as the option to select, so I selected the
vPG VNF name as target.
3. CLAMP : Submit closedloop, this created operational policy in the drools
usecases and a monitoring policy in the XACML.
4. CLAMP : Deploy closedloop, the DCAE at this point spins up the TCA
microservice(AAI enriched) and the DCAE policy manager pulled the monitoring
policy from XAML and added it to TCA.
All seems to ok until this point, hitting the issue in the following step
5. TCA alert : The alert that TCA generated specified the generic-vnf.vnf-name
as the source and target.
6. Drools : The policy failed with "message": "Vserver name is missing". I do
not understand why policy is looking for vserver-name.( Also please note that I
have ran the robot heatbridge and the AAI has vserver related information.)
Then for debugging I changed the target type from VNF to VM and target as
vserver-name from vnf-name in the TCA policy, after this the TCA fetched all
the vFW_SINC vserver related information and generated the alert. Now policy
fails with message "Target vnf-id not found".Which is kind of expected because
the Policy did a query on AAI and fetched vFW_SINC vserver related information
only which is the source in this case, nothing about the target which vPG
vserver was fetched from the AAI.
I am confused on how the vFWCL works in Dublin. Any help will be appreciated.
