Attn: All DCAE service component owners Hello, For Frankfurt release, we adopted a change in process for blueprint (cloudify) management for service components as discussed on weekly meeting recently. Going forward all DCAE component blueprints (either dynamic deployed or bootstrapped) must be maintained under blueprint repository<https://git.onap.org/dcaegen2/platform/blueprints/tree/blueprints> (this introduces a change for dynamic Services components/MS whose blueprints were originally maintained under their own repo). The blueprint consolidation is required to 1) Identifying release version of all DCAE components blueprint (which now will be packaged under k8s-bootstrap-container pod) 2) Providing options for Integration team to dynamically spin up components/usecase based on robot.
Pls ensure following when new blueprints are submitted into blueprint repository<https://git.onap.org/dcaegen2/platform/blueprints/tree/blueprints> 1. Blueprint is validated/tested locally; results of successful deployment is provided as comments 2. Container version points to release version (container should be self-released prior - https://wiki.onap.org/display/DW/Self+Release+Workflow) 3. All input on the blueprint must have valid default set * Only components under bootstrap deploy will need input files under OOM/dcaegen2 charts<https://git.onap.org/oom/tree/kubernetes/dcaegen2/components/dcae-bootstrap/resources/inputs> 4. When submitting blueprint updates, the bootstrap pom.xml and version.properties version - patch# should be incremented 5. Update RTD documentation to reflect the new blueprint repo (more details can be found on the jira - DCAEGEN2-2041<https://jira.onap.org/browse/DCAEGEN2-2041>) All DCAE MS under Frankfurt scope is expected to comply with above.
