Hello, the ONAP CCSDK/SDNC project has a close relationship with the O-RAN Software Community. The O-RAN Software Community project Operation and Maintenance (OAM) implements the *FC* A *P* S as specified by the O-RAN Working Group1 - Architecture and Interface Specification - also known as O1-interface. The based of the O1 interface are the related 3GPP yang models - there are activities enhance 3GPP yang modules and to enhance them by O-RAN and implement them in O-RAN-SC - but using all the ONAP infrastructure.
regarding 1) 3GPP standards are the bases and will be enhanced for 5G by 3GPP itself and by O-RAN and implemented by O-RAN-SC OAM using ONAP/CCSDK/SDNC/SDN-R concepts and code artifacts. regarding 2) O-RAN is currently specifying such interfaces RAN, Fronthaul, Transport regrading 3) Deployment currently follows the ONAP OOM project but will be updated/enhanced/influenced later by O-RAN O2 interface specifications. regrading 4) again O-RAN O2 interface specifications... regarding 5) Such cases are covered by O-RAN A1 Interface and E2 interface specifications. regarding 6) ONAP and O-RAN-SC did 2 demos -2020-June and 2020-December - first implementations also by vendors.
