Hello Kevin, as discussed in this review (https://gerrit.onap.org/r/c/oom/+/109427), we would like to have most of the components to log to STDOUT (and on other destination if needed by component / requirements)
In my simple mind, I would like to have this naïve proposal: All logs created by the component should be written to STDOUT if the level is superior or equal to the one desired (with INFO as default). We should also be capable of choosing the log level simply with a "well known" environment variable for STDOUT (LOG_LEVEL?). Last important thing, it would be great if we have a common "logging output". Logging project defined it I think (https://github.com/onap/logging-analytics/blob/master/docs/Logging_Enhancements_Project/logging_enhancements_project.rst#id14) so we may start from there and enforce it on OOM with some templates/chart helpers.
