On September 27 Zoom is implementing a mandatory functionality change. Zoom will now enforce all meetings to have either a passcode or a waiting room. If no passcode is enabled, attendees will automatically be placed into a waiting room and the meeting hosts will need to add the attendees to the meeting manually. https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/360045009111 The LF has given our feedback and concerns to Zoom as this impacts every one of our opensource communities, but Zoom's decision seems to be final. Primarily it is just an annoyance because we need to take action that doesn't provide us with any value. Between now and the 27th is the responsibility of all the meeting hosts to make the necessary updates. Details on what needs to be done has been communicated to the ONAP meeting owners. You should be looking for updated meeting invites from Groups.io that contains an embedded passcode as part of the meeting URL. These notices will be tagged with #cal-invite. I have already done this for the PTL, CNF and TSC meetings.
