The ambition was to get a high quality (98% code coverage, functional tests, pylint 100%,..) programmatic way to discuss with ONAP APIs in python (as the openstack or the kubernetes python client) Thanks to the great work done by Sylvain, Michal, Andreas, Thierry and others, I think we got now a good tool (several presentation & demos over the last ONAP events).
A demo of pythonsdk-tes (Onboarding/instantiation) has been done last week during the weekly meeting. The goal to migrate E2E tests from onap-tests to pythonsdk-tests framework is in progress and shall be effective for Guilin. This migration shall lead to more flexible and trustable end to end tests (avoid race condition on the client side when the server side does not manage // requests to create a single resource) We are currently collecting the ideas for the evolution of this SDK https://etherpad.opnfv.org/p/onap_integration_pythonsdk feel free to join the discussion, suggest any feature you are dreaming of for such kind of tools.
