Hi,
Try to enable debug logs :
Go to sdc-be pod
In /var/lib/jetty/config/catalog-be/logback.xml, enable all-logs to true
<property name="enable-all-log" scope="context" value="false" /> ----> change
value to “true”
This will start to generate a new log file with all possible logs (in
/var/log/onap/sdc/sdc-be/all.log), there is no need to restart the pod.
You can search in this file for something like :

Exiting.
I’ve retried on windriver lab and I was successful in creating new categories
as you can see above
We should get more info in this file as to why it was not able to create the
new service category
