Yes, TCAgen2 only support VES 5.4. Regarding standalone deployment – you will need Consul, Configbindingservice and DMaap at the minimum. For H release, we introduced TCA deployment support also via helm; you can use following charts to deploy - https://git.onap.org/oom/tree/kubernetes/dcaegen2-services/components/dcae-tcagen2
