We continued reviewing the ASD proposal during the 5/24 Orchestration
Scenarios meeting. A new wiki page (
https://wiki.onap.org/display/DW/CNF+Descriptor+Proposals) has been created
so that others can contribute.
Some key points from the discussion:
1. Since one of the goals of the ASD is to not duplicate information
that is already in the Helm charts, ONAP components would need to parse and
understand the constituent Helm charts.
1. SDC to understand the ASD uServices and monitoring configuration
(DCAE)
2. CDS to understand the configuration design
3. SO/OOF to understand the resources required to deploy and run an
ASD
4. NFVO/VNFM to create Tenant/Name spaces and to grant resources
2. This discussion should probably extend beyond the ETSI Alignment
group. If you are interested in this topic please let me know.
