Dear Policy Framework Project committers, All, I intend to run for the position of PTL of the Policy Framework project.
I have been working in the Policy Framework project for 3 years. In that time, I have gained a deep understanding of the software in the project and have contributed heavily to the technical direction and implementation of the project. Currently I am coordinating and contributing to the work to enhance CLAMP with TOSCA defined Control Loops. If you choose to elect me, I would continue to coordinate the project in the manner set down so well by the two previous PTLs. * Agree the strategic direction of the project with stakeholders (TSC/Committers/Contributors/Others) * Protect the project architecture by ensuring it is kept up to date and that it is complied with in the project * Coordinate the evolution of the structure of the software in the Policy Framework so that the software structure is optimal * Ensure the quality of the software in the project complies with the project architecture, is excellent, meets quality benchmarks * Plan and coordinate releases of the project, for requirements, architecture, resource commitments from contributing companies, time planning, sprint planning, testing, releasing. I would really appreciate your support and should you choose to elect me, I look forward to continuing to work with you in the project. *** Short Biography *** Dr. Liam Fallon is a Principal Engineer at Ericsson Software Technology, Ericsson's centre of excellence for open source development.
