CCSDK team, As many of you are aware, we have a need to create a new repository in CCSDK to take over support for OpenDaylight modules that we still need, but which are no longer supported in the “officlal” OpenDaylight distribution. The immediate need we have is for the code for the bierman-draft style RESTCONF API, which is still supported in OpenDaylight Sulfur – the release we’re using in ONAP Kohn – but which will be removed starting in the next OpenDaylight release.
Before creating this new repository, I wanted to give the community an opportunity to provide any feedback/suggestions you might have. My proposed name – based on an excellent suggestion from Kenny – is: ccsdk/odl-legacy I’d like to create this repo early next week, so if you have any feedback, please let me know by next Monday, Aug 1.
