The basic* tests performed in the oom gating do the tests of sdc service composition and distribution, so it should generally work. The question is what is the sort of issue here. If you can access sdc and get into the point you have problem then it rather works. The problem may be specific to this use case then or maybe related with this exact sdc service model.
