Hi ONAP Community,Starting yesterday (May 14), the ONAP Jenkins CI system has been experiencing intermittent unresponsiveness and crashes caused by bot traffic overwhelming the SAML authentication plugin. We initially mitigated this via Cloudflare traffic blocks, but were hit again today and are now deploying more robust filtering rules.
What this means for you:These stronger Cloudflare rules may inadvertently block legitimate users. If you find yourself unable to access the ONAP Jenkins system, please try the following before opening a ticket:
* Update your browser — we have identified that embedded Chromium-based browsers (e.g., browsers embedded in Electron apps, IDEs, or similar tools) are particularly affected. Make sure your browser is fully up to date. * Try a different browser — switch to a mainstream browser (Firefox, Chrome) if you are currently using an embedded or non-standard one.If you are still blocked after trying the above, please open a ticket at: https://jira.linuxfoundation.org/plugins/servlet/desk/portal/2/
Please include: * Your zone location (e.g. EU, US, Asia) and IP address if possible * The browser and version you are using * A screenshot or description of the errorNote: We are actively working on migrating ONAP CI from Jenkins to GitHub Actions workflows wherever feasible.
