I've got the mirrors up and running for Nexus and Gerrit. Here is the
information the community needs to make use of them:
Gerrit / git mirror:
To clone a project users need to do the following:
git clone git://gerrit-mirror-ap.onap.org:/mirror/${the_project_path}.git
EXAMPLES
for cloning ci-management the command would be:
--[cut]--
git clone git://gerrit-mirror-ap.onap.org:/mirror/ci-management.git
--[/cut]--
For aaf/authz it would be:
--[cut]--
git clone git://gerrit-mirror-ap.onap.org:/mirror/aaf/authz.git
--[/cut]--
If there is already a local clone from gerrit and the users just want to switch
to the mirror, then they should do the following on their clone:
--[cut]--
git remote set-url origin ${the_project_mirror_url}
git remote set-url origin --push ${the_gerrit_project_url_they_had}
--[/cut]--
If using the git-review plugin (as we recommend) users will need to make
similar modifications replacing 'origin' with 'gerrit'
Nexus 3
For the Nexus3 proxy users can simply replace any URLs for nexus3.onap.org with
nexus3ap.onap.org and it should "just work" when it comes to docker.
NOTE: The Nexus system is a proxy, and not a mirror. The first time any
resource is requested it will take about the same length of time as it does if
the user is accessing our Nexus 2 or Nexus 3 system directly. Any subsequent
requests for the object will be in the local cache and therefore much faster.
Maven / PyPi
The maven proxy requires that the global & local settings files be modified to
point to the appropriate repositories on the system. The same thing also
applies to the PyPi repos. (As the original request was just for the docker
registry proxy, documentation on this will be forthcoming)
