Hi Srini,

Current proposal has already moved frozen time 2 months earlier than R1/R2, to
be honest, we haven't see any challenges during R1/R2 implementations.
And also modeling plan established is M1, then we freeze it immediately, how
modeling committee could work.

My recommendation is to let's try current proposal as it is, and come back in
R3 whether we should improve it.

Thanks a lot for your discussion

DENG Hui

Yes Gildas.

Since scope, timelines and milestones are all inter-linked, I brought this up.
Not to put Modeling team in the focus here, it would be good if Model freeze
happen 4 weeks earlier :). That will give enough time to move to TOSCA in
various projects.

Thanks
Srini

Hi Srini,

This is certainly a very good scope question.
As per the ONAP release milestone process, the functionalities scoped in at M1
"Release Planning" for a given release have to be implemented by "M4 Code
Freeze".

Working ahead, whenever possible, is certainly a good approach if timing is an
issue.

Thanks,
Gildas

Subject: RE: Casablanca Timeline

Hi,

I can't make it at 7:00AM PST due to a conflict.

I have one clarification question.

As I understand TOSCA DM Model is expected to be finalized by 08/30. This
gives around 3 to 4 weeks' time to complete the implementation in various ONAP
project to reach code freeze milestone. My question : Is the expectation that
all relevant ONAP projects implement logic to enable TOSCA based orchestration
in Casablanca?

Thanks
Srini
