As discussed during the PTL Meeting this morning, the Integration team is blocked by https://jira.onap.org/browse/HOLMES-134. This code has been code reviewed, and has been locally built and tested already and is waiting to be merged. All approved Committers on the Holmes project are no longer available to work on the project. As such I'm am asking the TSC to invoke Section 3.2.2.2 Of the ONAP Technical Community Document: 3.2.2.2 Adding Committers to moribund projects In the event that a project has no active Committers (e.g., due to resignations, etc.), the TSC may appoint an interim Committer from a project’s active Contributors. This term shall last until the next release date, after which time the Committer must stand for election from amongst other Committers on the project to maintain his or her status. In this special case, approval requires a majority of committers who respond within two weeks. If no one responds by the deadline, then the Committer status is approved. This provision allows a project to continue development following an unexpected change in personnel. The method by which the TSC appoints an interim Committer is first by request to the ONAP-TSC email list indicating the request to appoint an interim Committer for a project. After the reception of such an email, the normal TSC decision process applies. Of the 8 existing contributors, 5 are no longer available. This leaves the following contributors to the Holmes project for the past 6 months: Guobiao Mo [email protected], 1 commit Victor Gao [email protected], 1 commit Jessica Wagantall [email protected] 4 commits My recommendation is to grant the interim Committer privileges to Jessica in the interest of both visibility and expediency.
