I am officially opening the self-nomination period for the ONAP Release Manager. The nomination period will end at 10:30 PM Pacific Time, Thursday, Sep. 20th
As discussed in the TSC meeting this morning, our Community Coordinator Elections are long overdue and need to get under way. Coincidently it was also announced that our current Release Manager, Gildas Lanilis, will be rolled off of ONAP by his employer before the end of the year. As such, we will lead off with this election to identify a new Release Manager. The Release Manager's job role and responsibilities can be found here: ONAP Release Manager Election (2018) -------------- Who is eligible to Run: Any Community Member Who is eligible to Vote: TSC Members Process: Self-Nomination Phase Individuals interested in running for this position must reply-all to this email with your intention to run. Candidates are strongly recommended to include a headshot, biography and statement of intent on why you would be a good person to hold this position. In addition, it is requested that candidates also fill in the Candidate Information section of the ONAP Release Manager Election (2018) wiki page with the same information. Note that filling out the wiki page is NOT in lieu of sending the email as required. The nomination phase begins with the receipt of this announcement ( as verified by checking the appropriate list in groups.io ) The nomination phase ends at 10:30 PM Pacific Time, Thursday, Sep. 20th. (one calendar week) Election Phase If there is a single nominee for a position: A standard TSC vote (either live or via email to onap-tsc-vote) shall be initiated by the LF at the first opportunity to do so. If there are multiple nominees: A Condorcet election will be initiated by the LF using the CIVS voting system. All TSC members will receive an invitation to vote.
