Dear TSC members, Per Kenny’s note, I would like to announce my self-nomination for ONAP TSC Chair.
Chair of the ONAP TSC is a significant commitment and I am both excited and prepared to work with the newly elected and returning TSC members to build upon the successes of the past and deliver on ONAP TSC's mission to support and promote the ONAP Community. I have been engaged with ONAP since its inception and it would be an honor to lead our tremendously qualified community. I believe our most important priority is to accelerate adoption of ONAP in production. This starts with continuing to grow the set of platform features in ONAP that service providers need and help accelerate the onboarding and instantiation of vendor VNFs into production networks. A solid code base is necessary as a foundation for that goal. To drive this priority, I will work together with the TSC to focus on the following: 1. Increase the level of engagement of the LFN End User Advisory Group to define, align and prioritize the operator's needs; 2. Establish a long term consolidated roadmap based on LFN End User Advisory Group's requirements, ONAP subcommittee and PTL inputs; 3. Pursue our continuous integration/continuous delivery journey by adding more agility to our development process to enable releasing intermediate packages; 4. Connect with other open source initiatives to improve and to share our ONAP Open Source best practices. Finally I would like to thank you and the ONAP community for your support in ONAP. It would be my honor and privilege to serve all of you as the ONAP TSC Chair.
