Hi Mike, I would love to provide the Committer credentials to James asap. I know and I can see the evidences of his contributions into ONAP.
However, before I give my approval there are 2 things we should address: 1) I would need to have an effective evidence for the current committers on their votes. These evidences could be a copy of email (posted in wiki) or whatever screenshot of a tool (survey) acknowledging their support. I am not sure to understand what the current screenshot shows. 2) The current list of OOM Committers is composed of 13 members, however it looks like only 6 committers provided support for James and thus this does not meet the majority. How to fix this? Looking at the last 6 months history of OOM repo, it appears that a significant number of committers has been inactive. According the “ONAP Technical Community Document<https://wiki.onap.org/display/DW/ONAP+Technical+Community+Document>”, section 3.2.2.3 “Removing Committers<https://wiki.onap.org/display/DW/ONAP+Technical+Community+Document#ONAPTechnicalCommunityDocument-3.2.2.3RemovingCommitters>” the PTL may revoke these inactive committers. I would advise to start with bullet number #2 by emailing ticket to helpd...@onap.org<mailto:helpd...@onap.org> asking to revoke committer privileges to the inactive committers and updating accordingly the INFO.yaml file located at the root directory of the OOM repo. BTW, I am incline, for Dublin Release and prior to M1, to ask every PTL a formal commitment from their listed committers for their active support in reviewing and merging code.
