Please find few notes - if I have miscaptured anything then feel free to add/remove/update them * Presentation presented by Eric Debeau, Adolfo Perez-Duran * Footprint optimization goal: Reduce container image size * Wiki : https://wiki.onap.org/display/DW/Container+Image+Minimization+Guidelines This wiki will be shared again to the PTLs on PTL call on March 4th in case of they have missed any previous communication about the guidelines * Projects committed for Dublin: AAI, DMaaP, Portal, SDC, SO, SDNC and VID (led by CIA team under Integration project) * Integration strategy: The docker images produced by project should be optimized and become the images to be used by the Integration team for the Dublin certification * Discussions about Alpine VS Ubuntu 16.04 (Community supported VS Commercially supported) Procedure can be provided to help the Community to update and to support other OS but the Dublin goal is to validate the concept with few projects i.e. AAI, DMaaP, Portal, SDC, SO and VID. * The Testing strategy will be explained again on TSC call on 2/28 to ensure that the TSC and the ONAP community is fully aware of Footprint optimization goal.
