Hi as Integration PTL, I would like to create a new integration sub- repository integration/xtesting ( https://jira.linuxfoundation.org/servicedesk/customer/portal/2/IT-18078 - I was not able to share the ticket with you). Jessica indicated me the procedure. I need your green light before getting the requested resource.
This sub-repository will deal with the automation of the use cases managed by the integration team in existing integration, demo and testsuites repositories. It will host the Dockerfiles of the different testsuites to be integrated in the CI chains to build an "integration Gate". It means that it does not host the code of the tests, just the code to automate the tests. It shall be light in term of code (Docker + yaml + requirements.txt files). From a CI perspective, it will trigger the regular build of the dockers (so far in ou CI chains we are using dockers built from code hosted in github or gitlab and published on dockerhub) The number of dockers will be limited - in prototype (demo this afternoon during the integration meeting), we got 6 dockers - infra-healthcheck - healthcheck - smoke-use-cases - candidate-use-cases - security - benchmarking it may still evolve but the number shall be between 5-10 anyway.
