This is my self-nomination for VNFSDK project PTL role. Please find more
details below
I have started to work with our team since Casablanca release, I would like to
self-nominate myself for VNFSDK PTL role based on my contributions and
achievements made:
As part of this project, I have contributed mainly on following 3 areas by
collaborating across ONAP, OPNFV, CNTT and TMF communities:
1. VNF Test Automation
2. OVP badging
3. Testing Standardization (TMF)
And produced following values to ONAP VNFSDK community:
1. Introduced the VNF Test Platform (VTP) and helped for Vendors,
Operators and 3rd party labs for performing the testing during OVP badging, VNF
on-boarding and live Demoed these features in ONS NA 2019 & ONAS EU 2019
successfully
2. Leveraged the value of ONAP CLI in VTP for performing test case
creation and test automation.
3. Worked with community partners to demonstrate ONE TOUCH end-end
network service provisioning (both HOT & TOSCA) by using ONAP CLI
4. Worked with our team to produce the TOSCA SOL004/005/001 compliance
test cases and demoed this feature as part of OVP demos
5. Worked with community partners to produce the VNF LCM Validation test
cases and demoed this feature as part of ONS demos
6. Supporting our team to implement the VTP Portal
7. Collaborated with SDC team to integrate VTP and introduced the
'Operator specific VSP compliance check for the given operator VNF cloud
environment and their specific security requirements"
8. Collaborated with OPNFV OVP team to integrate VTP for OVP VNF badging
9. Collaborated with TMF and standardized the Test component suites
(Total 8 specs) in line with VTP REST API and presented to ONAP arch
subcommittee.
10. Collaborating with CNTT and contributing and co-leading reference
certification (RC) track
11. Taken care of the ONAP sonar, CLM, Jenkins requirements
Self-Biography:
I am working as Lead Architect in Huawei with 15+ years' experience across ICT
industry domain includes Data-Center Storage (SAN, FC, iSCSI), Server (&
Virtualization) and network automations, ETSI NFV management & Orchestration
(MANO) and SDN technologies. And Open-source experience with different roles
PTL, Committer and Contributors across different ICT communities includes Cloud
(OpenStack) and Telco (ONAP).
