Team,
I had an action item from the TSC to coordinate with Chaker to verify the
arch review status of requirements and use cases on the Guilin requirements
page <https://wiki.onap.org/x/LyJIB>.
When I met with Chaker, we identified a process issue that we need to
resolve: Arch review JIRA issues (ONAPARC) do not have traceability to the
requirements JIRA issues (REQ). In order to resolve this problem, we will
be making the following changes:
1. Before a requirement may be reviewed by the arch subcommittee, the
requirement must be documented in JIRA (REQ), and the REQ reference must be
submitted when requesting an arch review.
2. After the arch review subcommittee has completed its review and made
a determination, please add an issue link to the REQ issue for your review.
1. Navigate to your requirement issue in JIRA (REQ)
2. Select edit
3. Scroll down until you find the "Linked Issues" field (see
attachment)
4. Make sure that the link type is "Is blocked by" (see attachment)
5. Add the JIRA reference for your arch review (ONAPARC) to the
"issue" field. (see attachment)
6. Click the "Update" button.
Chaker will be updating the arch review process to accommodate these
changes. In addition, I've also updated the process for creating a REQ
JIRA issue <https://wiki.onap.org/x/SOoVB>.
*What do I need to do?*
- If you have completed your arch review, then please link your arch
review JIRA issue to your REQ issue, by following item 2, above.
- If you have NOT completed your arch review, then please provide your
REQ issue reference when you request a review (item 1), and follow item 2
when your review has been completed.
