Dear ONAP TSC, The INFO.yaml file is foundational to much of the self-service automation LF-IT is providing to the PTLs. Unfortunately we have an ongoing issue where the Jenkins job fails on an INFO.yaml commit but the PTL overrides the Jenkins job failure and executes the merge anyway. This causes the automation we are providing to break and the RelEng team is spending a great many unnecessary cycles on debugging broken scripts. The overrides of the failed INFO.yaml commits are a pervasive issue and not one that is limited to one or two projects. This is to let y'all know that I've instructed the RelEng team to proceed with removing the ability to override an INFO.yaml commit that fails a Jenkins check. For clarity this is change is only being applied to INFO.yaml files and not to any other aspects of code development.
