Importance: High

Hi Kenny,

Looks like something has gone wrong.

When I use the v2 GUI it shows Samsung does not have a signed ONAP Corporate
CLA.
When I use the v1 GUI I can see our ONAP Corporate CLA and the “approved list”.

Is it just me or are other having the same experience?

Please advise.

Thanks,

Ranny.

If you don’t commit code or act as a CLA Manager for your company, feel free to
ignore this. :-)

The LFX team has been working on the migration to the v2 of the EasyCLA tool.
We had set the target to do this on April 7th. Even though the release has
been pushed out I would like to keep the migration to the original timeframe
and have the upgrade executed during the “community meeting block” this
Wednesday. This should amount to simply enabling the new UI. Most developers
have never even see the current UI because they have been authorized at the
domain level. Those developers that have needed used EasyCLA to get added to
their company’s list rarely, if ever need to touch it after that.

The three most important things to know are:

  * There are no changes to the current code contributor workflow.

  * All contributors who are already approved will continue to be approved in
new version.
  * The V1 and V2 UIs are both accessing the same backend DB so there is no
data migration - all the approved contributor lists, CLAs, CLA Managers and CLA
Groups are already available in V2.

After the migration:

  * CLA Managers will have a new corporate console where they can manage
approved lists and add other CLA Managers
  * Brand new developers (those who aren’t already in the system) will use
the new UI to sign ICLA or contact their CLA Managers to be added to approved
list.

Unless there is sufficient concern here I’m going to tell the team to proceed.

Thanks!
