I'm sending the email to ask the arch sub-committee to kindly evaluate if Holmes needs a review in the Jakarta release. In R10, there's no big change in the architecture of Holmes. The only thing we have to do is retrieve the configurations from k8s ConfigMap instead of the DCAE config-binding service (aka CBS) as DCAE is going to deprecate Consul and turn the CBS off. Holmes has completed helm migration in R8, so what we are planning is to move the previous configurations into ConfigMap and modify our codes to load them from it. If you think an arch review is needed, please help to create a jira ticket for Holmes and if possible, arrange the review in mid-December or January.
