Weather:
Overcast with moderate to strong WSW winds. Some late-morning sun. The
winds shifted WNW in the early afternoon so I moved to the south lookout at
1pm EST. Lake effect snow showers throughout the afternoon.

Raptor Observations:
An excellent flight of Turkey Vultures, primarily in the first few hours,
with 850 total for the day. Small numbers of other expected migrants. After
the move to the south lookout the only migrants were two Turkey Vultures.

Non-raptor Observations:
North Lookout: 6 Great Blue Herons.

South Lookout: Wilson's Snipe, Killdeer, 6 Common Loons

New species for season: Wilson's Snipe, Common Loon

Predictions:
TOMORROW: Mainly cloudy with snow showers in the morning. Temps steady in
the mid 30s. Winds W at 15-25mph. Maybe some Turkey Vultures will push
through but otherwise expect light migration.

THURSDAY: Mostly sunny. High 46F. Winds W at 10-15mph. Expect moderate
migration.

FRIDAY: Partly cloudy then cloudy. High 46F. Winds NNW at 5-10mph. Expect
south lookout. Expect light to moderate migration.
