[Winona Online Democracy]

While Dwayne has asked our elected officials for their opinions on the
referendum, AMSCME and MAPE I would like to see the "newspapers" provide
comparisons on the Health Care plans of public employees verse the plans
currently in force for most companies in Winona. I think they would find
the union proposals are out of line with those offered and available in the
private sector to the same people who are being ask to foot the bill.

Money and benefits are the two sides of the same coin. Unless one takes
on more responsibility, more risk, more education all should expect and be
thankful to just stay even with inflation. If not then maybe it is time to
start job hunting, get more education, change vocations or moving but
remember the grass always look greener on the other side!
