I lived in Denver long ago, where they had many one-way residential streets with lights timed for 50 or more. That did move the traffic faster. But I hope that Winona can preserve our central neighborhoods as suitable places for families with young children. Thanks for the heads up about our road ragin' speedsters. I'll be on my guard. >[Winona Online Democracy] > >DO NOT slow down the speed limit. It will only cause those of us who like traffic to move and feel Winona drivers are too slow now to increase our road rage and take unnecessary chances. We need several one-way streets where traffic can move and more stoplights synchronized to move traffic......... >This message was posted to the Winona Online Democracy Project. >Please visit http://onlinedemocracy.winona.org to subscribe or unsubscribe. >Please sign all messages posted to this list with your actual name. >Posting of commercial solicitations is not allowed on this list. >Report problems to [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > ---------------- This message was posted to the Winona Online Democracy Project.
