[Winona Online Democracy]

(From Clay) Whups. Sorry, Ms. Burt! Communication error. Please accept my
apologies. My intention was not to disrespect the subdivisions, and I
thought that I had made that clear in my message. I only meant to say that
we (I) sometimes like to preserve old things and old buildings for
nostalgic, rather than functional, reasons. It can be a real hassle to deal
with all that goes along with old buildings, and in many cases I would be in
support of a new building. The courthouse is an exception because of the
warmth and beauty that I have personally felt there.

P.S. I've been looking at the places for sale in Valley Oaks this month.
Not only am I judgemental, but I'm a hypocrit! (grin)
