Interesting ideas. I know when i voted last week there were many young SMU
students in line to vote. Most of them were not registered and we were all
waiting in
one queue extending out of the church and into the parking lot until an
election judge
finally made her way out and informed those of us who were registered that we
could go into the church and form another line there.
I am not knocking the election judges, they do a great job for little or no
reward. But
a little more thought along the lines you are suggesting would have made it a
more
enjoyable process for all i think. Although, in all fairness, i must say that
the students
all seemed in high spirits and didn't seem to mind the wait or the cold.
