[Winona Online Democracy]

Craig & Dwayne,

I was originally very skeptical of any alternative voting methods, but after
reading the articles you referenced I think the two methods mentioned have
a lot of merit and could really improve people's attitude towards elections
(and the people who are elected).

I tend to think that "approval voting" would be the easiest to implement
(and for voters to understand). I wonder if this is something that a
political party could choose to use in a primary election. It would seem to
me that they might end up with a stronger candidate going into the general
election even if plurality voting were used in the general election.

If that were the case, it wouldn't be long before all parties adopted it and
moved it on to general elections.
