WSHS Model Legislature
Friday, December 8 from 8:30 to 2:45 & Saturday & December 9 from 9-12
2nd Floor Old Maxwell Library now the Maxwell Conference Center. Note this is a new location at Winona State University
For 50 years a model legislature has been held in Winona.
Cotter High School, St. Charles High School, Winona Middle School and Winona Senior High School will be participating with about 100 students in a House, Senate and Governor's office. Each 9-12 grade student has researched and drafted a bill using the Minnesota Legislative WWW Site. The 6-8 grade students are pages.
The Public is welcome to attend and see the legislature in action.
