The United Way did not decide to cut the funding to the Boy Scouts, the Boy
Scouts decided to forego the funding by refusing to sign the
anti-discrimination clause. Hopefully the "children" of the Boy Scouts will
benefit by learning early to consider that discrimination against others is
hurtful and if allowed for one reason, could happen to them for another. Do
not those discriminated against suffer?
