[Winona Online Democracy] Though I don't write often, I read much of what goes on here and I just wanted to thank you for mentioning the lack of local coverage on the recent School Board meeting to reduce teaching staff. Seeing this, caused me to mention it to our staff at Vanguard/DWC and to Wayne Valentine from HBC news and he was able to get Eric Bartelson on the air the same day to discuss the events. Please feel free to email me with any issues you feel should be covered in more depth and we will make every attempt to convert your desires into an on-air interview with the applicable parties on HBC local news. A recent refocusing of our news program is to get more in depth coverage of the issues that matter most to our community.
